COURSE DESCRIPTION
🔁 This is an out and back course. Starting at Bells Parade, Latrobe, the course follows the Mersey River, crossing on the northward side of the bridge. Exiting the bridge participants turn right into Elizabeth St, passing behind Petbarn before continuing on the pathway past the silos and following the Mersey River to Aikenhead Point. Following the shoreline the path continues before diverging at the Bluff skate park where runners take the lefthand pathway crossing Bluff Rd.
At Meercroft Park (21.1km turn point) runners can hydrate at the drink station before crossing William St and heading toward Coles Beach and the Don Train Bridge. Once over the bridge there is a 2km section on road on Don Heads and runners MUST be aware of traffic and obey road rules.
Back on the Coastal Pathway runners continue along Lillico Straight to Leith (42.2km turn point) crossing the Forth River, turning right at Lukin St onto a small section (approx 200m) of trail before joining the Esplanade through Turners Beach to Maskells Rd. Following the pathway next to Beach Rd and turning at Buttons Creek passing in front of the Ulverstone Surf Club, through Fairway Park past The Pier and across the River Leven. A sharp right hand turn keep runners next to the river until the turn point outside the West Ulverstone Tennis Club at Westshore St.
CUT OFF TIMES
Participants will have 10 hours to complete the course, starting from the sound of the starting gun.
PRIZES
Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female winners, and all finishers will receive a medal. Additional prizes will be confirmed closer to the event date.
START TIME
The 64 km solo will start at 6:15 am. from Bells Parade

WILL THERE BE DRINK STATIONS/ NUTRITION ON THE COURSE?
There will be several drink stations along the course, stocked with Tailwind Nutrition and water. Additionally, there will be designated locations along the route where family and friends can safely stop to provide food and drinks — including any preferred items — to the runners they are supporting
